Candido Brown is an accomplished educational leader with over 18 years of experience driving school transformation, leadership development, and instructional excellence. He holds a Master’s Degree in Education Policy and School Management from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Johns Hopkins University.
As the Founder and CEO of BetterEd Solutions, Candido has led strategic planning initiatives that enhance school culture, instructional practices, and leadership capacity. His work has helped schools and districts close achievement gaps through targeted professional development, data-driven decision-making, and equity-focused school improvement. His expertise in stakeholder engagement and instructional coaching has improved student outcomes and teacher effectiveness nationwide.
Candido has extensive experience in New York City’s charter school sector, having served as Manager of Culture and Active Learning at Success Academy Charter Schools, where he oversaw strategic planning and leadership development for 47 schools. His impact included:
